PayPal limitation New Accont
 

Hi guys,

First post here and would appreciate any help.

Sold my previous company selling via ebay/amazon plus a website. Had no problems with previous company/paypal.

New paypal account opened Feb, with 10year old ebay account. 3 ebay accounts in total all into 1 paypal.

3 weeks ago limitation hit me. I can to be honest totally understand the limitation. Sales have exploded in the space of 14 weeks. From £400 per day to £3000+. I transferred different amounts in that space of time. £1,000-£5,000. Several times I had to wait for a call and enter a number before any transfer would complete.

I have a totally legitimate Company. Reg number, incorporated, V.A.T number, EROI with DHL, Royal Mail account, accountant deals with PAYE wage slips, staff etc...

Paypal wanted a long list of details. From I.D to reason for increase in sales.
I supplied everything within 24 hours, and sent by PDF.
14 days later paypal replied saying the PDF's where not good enough, please send the same information but additional. (JPEG) I tried to send all the info via JPEG but my space was maxed out so I could not add or send anymore info. I have bought a fax machine and intend to fax the required info.

I continued to sell when the limitation hit and £40k sits in my paypal account. I have fees that are due to come out of that paypal account but I've read that I would have to pay these another way. Cheque, credit card.
My fees are £5k.

Can anyone help advise with the following:

What if any chance do I have of removing this limitation? Bearing in my mind I can supply anything they want. I would even go to wherever paypal is located dealing with this mess.

Has anyone ever had success in faxing in the required information? Thus returning there previous limited account to active.

yes people have had sucess but in your case we do not know enough details

Did you create the new account in the same details as the old account ?

Did you sell the old account/accouts with the business

If you have in some way linked to your old accounts without realising it you could be in trouble.


the real important information is kind of missing from your post.

You have frightened the life out of them.

How you approach this is important - you have to make them purr
