Some Paypal advice...

Hey guys,

I'm new to this, so please go easy on me! :p

I've been selling on my Ebay account and have just received my first MC019. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting suspended sooner or later, so I am trying to plan ahead.

1) Use a new IP/clean cache etc to create a new Ebay account.
2) Create a new Paypal account. I have online banking that lets me create instant new current accounts - I'm guessing I could link the new Paypal account to this?
3) Selling unbranded goods on Ebay until I have a higher seller limit, then going back to replica sales.
4) Rinse and repeat.

Is there anything I'm missing theoretically? Would like to be prepared to go again when the time comes!

Instant new current account? Really? Who do you bank with, if you don't mind me asking.

Same here. Don't know of any bank in the UK that provides it ??

If you have an existing account with most banks they will open new current accounts online for you without too much fuss. Providing of course you are not abusing their services.

Nat West for one offers this as do others.

RBS is another bank that allows online accounts to be made AFTER the 1st account is established.

Dont forget 'online' banks may charge for the privilege pf using their services
Careful selection of High Street banks avoids that cost

I tried this. I have Halifax online banking. I then went to the Bank of Scotland website and applied for a Cash Account. It showed up on my Halifax online banking a few hours later. Will do another, time it, then revert here.

Saying that, this didn't work when I tried applying for another Halifax current account. Called them and the response was... it will be a new application, new online banking login, etc.

So, the "instant" bit only applies for savings. RBS/Natwest allows give you an immediate current account (like savings)?

Yes, RBS & NW are instant current accounts providing you have an existing current account with them and are not in their opinion abusing their services i.e. you have to be able to justify the accounts if they ask questions
