Which Payment Method To Use When Purchasing Using A Stealth Account?
 

Hello,

I have a stealth ebay and paypal account however when I purchase an item it gives me 2 choices, Instant Bank Transfer and Credit/Debit card.

My question is, If I choose Instant Bank Transfer, would my bank disclose my real name?

If so what do people do instead of this? Virtual Credit Card? They charge fees so doesnt it defeat the purpose of buying cheap things from Ebay?

Bank transfer is not good. Strong chance of Paypal seeing your details

Get hold of a pre-paid card and use that

VCC or Prepaid card for sure. The fees on these should not be an issue when compared to protecting your stealth p/p and e/b accounts.

Never ever an instant bank transfer on a stealth account

I bought a VCC of a member on this forum and have linked it to my account.

However I was only supplied with the digits and no login to link the vcc to my card.

I tried entropay but they just wanted my ID for some reason.

The VCC you bought from the seller on here cannot be used to make payments for purchases it can only be used to verify your p/p account.

E/P asking for ID is standard procedure if you cannot be located on public records.

Can you suggest a VCC that will work in the UK without the need for ID.

I supplied my real info so i dont know why ID was required and whether i should give it to them.

Most vcc providers will require your personal details which should always be your real ones, that is standard procedure.

e/p have asked you to supply your ID docs because they cannot verify you through electronic means i.e. you are probably not on the electoral register at the address you have given them.

Search for prepaid credit cards or vouchers that can be used instead e.g.3V
