2 Hour instant withdrawal rolled out
 

I saw some threads regarding the 2 hour withdrawal. I was on the phone to PayPal today, so as always, i picked their brains at some sensitive questions, to which he responded.

So basically PayPal are selecting accounts to test out the 2 hour instant withdrawal of money to a bank account. He stated "It will last until the end of July, and then be decided if it should be rolled out across ALL accounts, but keep it too yourself, because not all accounts are priveledged enough to have it"

nat west is INSTANT for me and a couple of my halifax savers are too

easy cash and coop are still taking days

It isn't bank related, it is paypal selecting accounts to trial the system. I have 4 natwests, and only 2 have the 2 hour instant withdrawal

I don't really see the difference from PP's side. Once they have sent the money, either via faster payments or BACS it's out of their hands...

however

not sure why they would select eb/pp the accounts of mine that they have

unless its random selection

It is rolled out in a jagged approach, so completely random.
