Just found that one of my stealth accounts has had the 21 day hold took off!

I wont get too excited as I know they could whack it back on whenever but I am still chuffed lol :dance:

I haven't had an email telling me though? I have just had some payments in with no hold and the red box has gone.. There is still money pending also from previous holds? PP counfuzle me!

Congrats, when PayPal lifts the 21 day hold policy, they speak of that day and forward, so anything that has been on 21 day holds prior to them lifting the 21day hold, will still remain on hold until their criteria of feedback, shipping confirmation, or 21 days has past.

It don't take holds off the prior 21 day hold sold items..

Solid to hear - however, and not wanting to wish you harm, remember that a hold can come back at anytime. So be wise with your operations :)

Yes I totally agree and will always tread very carefully. I had a strong feeling this account was going to be limited soon due to a case being opened however I have received a lovely letter from ebay thanking me for dealing with it correctly. :laugh:

Keep in mind, this doesn't mean they won't put the holds back on someday.

Yes, the holds can come back at any time.... sometimes I just scroll to the bottom.... ya caught me.

This account is about 8 months old, FB 70, havent checked the DSR's but I know I have 2% for slow dispatch (sent to europe same day as sale however took a while to arrive with buyer, obviously my fault!)

My Joy was short lived... They whacked it back on 5 hours after taking it off, no changes to the account in the meantime... These people always amaze me lol!

At least i got 1 payment not held... hahaha!

It sounds like your account reached the 90 day from first sale mark and eBay stopped instructing PayPal to hold money. You get no email telling you that this has happened. But as you found out, PayPal can decide to apply the holds again on their own accord (without needing the instruction from eBay any longer) at any time after those 90 days.

Often wonder if these people are just sitting in a room with computer access and say to the group something like "ok let's make someone happy then KILL THEIR JOY"

Ok dude how long you think we should wait to get maximum effect? what time do we leave work at 5:00pm, ok kill their joy then EST of course.

Be patience it will come and go from time to time then kick in for whatever they deem ok
