Got ebay/paypal suspended- need to save main account.
 

Got banned from ebay for selling the same product for a few months, i knew i would get banned if i was caught again but didn't care for that account anymore. Little did i know the pp account would get banned too. Now i know i should have just closed that account so my name/IP/Payapl wont be flagged.

I buy items and sell small stuff from time to time on my main ebay account which is 10 years old. That is linked to my now banned paypal account so i was wondering if that will get suspended too? I used real address on suspended ebay account and at first had my brothers name but changed it to a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name.

- banned account has brother name on it, we share a main ebay account which is in my name.

-paypal has my name on it but my brothers bank details.

-My brother has a unverified paypal account.

Should i quickly change the paypal tied to my main ebay account used to make payments for seller fees?

Paypal new case after being limited
 

Paypal was limited a few days ago. I tried changing my name two days later on the account, today i log into paypal and see a new case id saying paypal need to verify some account information.

Does this mean that the limit may be lifted if i verify my identity or is this case just because i tried to change the name on the account?

The first limitation case happened after i was blocked from ebay

This second case says: 'We need to confirm some of your account information'

Anyone ever got this?

I'll second GrannyT advise on this ; this PP A/C is doomed in the long run & you would therefore be better off with a new PP.

Sure, when I tried to bypass existing systems in place with paypal.

All that changing of info did was damage your account and make paypal wary of you, you activity & made paypal highly unlikely to allow the account to survive.

Tough lesson but you killed your own account

I don't think i killed the account because it was already suspended 'indefinately' for multiple vero violations.

I got an email saying to send in ID documents but i think its just automated due to the name change because the 'fax documents' link isn't in the resolution centre as the email says it is.

The first case says this case cannot be appealed against.

Good news is that my main account is still alive and i have a paypal working, same address/surname/IP in my name.

It may still be working. It may work for a few weeks or even a few months.

But it will get canned eventually.

Best way is to start a fresh now, on your terms. Otherwise, it'll be on eBay's terms when and how your account ends.

Start with all new infor and don't link them to any of your previous account.

Get the stealth book and read and digest.

Most of your answers will be in the forum.

I can see pp getting a nice wad of cash for 180 days or there abouts.
