Adding paypal to ebid/etsy
 

add a new stealth pp account to my existing ebid and etsy accounts ?

the account that was active on those accounts before got limited through ebay issues... so does adding pp as a payment option to my ebid and etsy accounts raise a flag ?

the only pp id i have is a stealth one

can i add pp account to the old ebid and etsy accounts ? i have customers asking to purchase but i have no payment options added at present

or should i set up stealth accounts on those sites in the name of the stealth pp and then add the pp

Most PP problems come from EB and most EB problems come from PP

PP without EB is, in my opinion, perfectly acceptable and workable so you could well be OK.

PP + EB is a seriously toxic combination and should be kept well away from all off EB activities.

But that's just my view

Why 'spread' the stealth info anywhere but stealth accounts?

Those accounts have real info including paypal info. Adding your stealth paypal info links....:juggle:

Why would you think of pp when other forms of payment exist?

etsy, for one, has a database of customers that 'dig' paypal.

It's the balance of getting a sale (when traffic is slow) & suffering with paypal :juggle:

Can you cajole folx to do off pp transactions to other platforms that accept pp?

Not easily on etsy.

Can try but been my experience they stop replying. :pout:

Hi All,

Say if your ebid account had PayPal A linked to it. However you want to receive funds in Paypal B and replace PayPal A. Will PayPal recognize and Link PayPal A and B together?

That's annoying. Now are they clever to Link the fact that PayPal A had been used on a terminated Ebay account and realise that PayPal B is now selling on eBay and in turn ban the Ebay account. If they can pick that all up through ebid than I have to admit they are very clued up.

Why would that be clued up? Its no different to your own website getting a limited paypal account, than adding another paypal account - believe me, it will get linked, and also limited.

I agree its damned annoying, though. But its never good Stealth to form ANY links
