Entro pay does work i can confirm.
If you dont see your exp use numbers on your statement, opene a help desk question on your account and request it, they are very quick to respond and always fulfill the request!!

Hi Guys, been lurking for a while and thought i would say Hi!

Iv used aspkins guide to open around 50 ebay accounts over the last year, so thank you for that. :)

I have never kept these account as i hate ebay so much i wont pay there fees, but wish i had kept some account now due to having to have a paypal account to sell.

Iv sent up a few account with paypal and all is going well, i purchased the ebook to help and its got some good info there, thanks aspkin!

My question is, i see some of you using entropay to set up your paypal, so i opened up an entropey account. I usually use 3V but it wont let you accept payment like entropay. Now when it ask you to verify yourself for the 2 deposits it will only accept bank account to do this and not credit card number which entropay is. So how are you guys accepting entropay as your back account to verify? Am i missing something here?

entropay is not used as a bank account number.. it was supposed to add as a credit card and get expanded use number.. but i doubt if that is happening these days.

I added it a week ago, and i have no expanded use number, so a no go for me in the uk.

expanded use number doesnt show up automatically when u add the card.. it only shows when it u request it.. but strangely with entropay cards theres no such link.. perhaps as it is a vcc and paypal knows..

Might be an idea to post what others did to try to get the expanded use nos. Why is entropay working for some and not others?:confused:

So then Buzzin247, how did you set up entropay? How did you fund it? What have you done exactly?

I set up entropay online using my driving licence number as ID, then loaded it with £10 from my visa debit card (Lloyds TSB).

I open my paypal account about 2 weeks ago, and added the credit card from the drop down menu at the top of paypal website.

Any other info needed?

Sounds right. Have you checked the entropay balance recently? Or even got in contact
with their customer service?

Iv checked every day on Entropay, in the view statement page but nothing there. I haven't asked there customer service yet which i think will be my next step.

Yeah. Their customer service is OK. Does your entropay have a credit balance? You sign on the (L) side of the entropay and follow the prompts

Damn. Double check the credit card number on your paypal account in case you have made an error. Swear and then try entropay customer service.:p

Iv added a new back account to that account now as it had been a week on Friday. So that will probably wont work on this account now as its verifying with my barclays saving account, which does accept DD by the way.

Im going to get another paypal ready next week so will see what happens with that account. If i do anything different and see what the out come is?

Ill say it again and once more ONLY If anyone asks or fails to verify their account with paypal ur gunna be e-shot by me!
For all the people who dont know how, this is a step by step:--

1. Create a new entro card on Prepaid Virtual VISA Cards by EntroPay
2. Load it with the minimum which is $10 or £5
3. Add this card to paypal and request the deposits for expanded use.
4. Wait at least 3 days
5. If you dont see them in the card statement on entropay open a support ticket (HELPDESK)
6. Say you need the expuse numbers that paypal sent, i cannot see them on my statement. They are very helpful and will do this for you!
7. Go back to paypal and enter the exp use number
8 VOILA your another step closer to getting verified!!

IT WORKS SIMPLE AS 100% GUARANTEED

Buzzin, you start with £10 paypal wont add deposits to your credit card, they will charge the card about £1.50 and send the code as the reference. you would have a balance of £8.50 or something. When you add your card to paypal and request the exp use number, if you then check your card and see less money than before, you know paypal have charged it!

Let's hope that THE MUPPETS read the procedures correctly. Good news to have it confirmed that entropay works.

This part here is the problem! When adding a entropay credit card i dont get a request for the expanded use? the option is not available

Start fresh, open a new account, then in your little list it will say raise limits. with a tick list. Click add cc/debit card, add it then it will do it. If you have already added a credit card inthe past you wont be able to do it, start fresh!

as mentioned above it works for some not for others, can anyone qoute starting cc numbers ?? maybe there is some problem there..

As i said in the post i added the cc from the drop down menu, so there is the difference from what you did.

Mine starts with 4066 and the numbers are there. Just got an answer from the help desk.

People please LISTEN, CONTACT THE HELPDESK before you say it doesnt work!

yes that might be the reason.. maybe my account is fully verified and added a credit card in the past and got it verifed by expanded use number, however this credit card got expired and had to remove it, but when i later added entropay for the frist time on this account it is not giving any such options. on my other paypal account which is also fully verified i added a new credit card(not entropay) and it was also the same no expanded use number.. so my conclusion is yes you can get expanded use numbers on a new account which is not fully verified...

lol if your account is fuully verified you have no need to add another cc to get expanded use program! Assuming you have already done it in the past!

greg2414 i think u r still novice in this game.. when paypal gets ur first hold on approx 4500£ it asks u to run through a check list.. and one of the item is that you must have a card on file with expanded use number so this is the only thought which troubles.. got the idea ? further to add on this discussion i just tried to get expanded use on an unverifed account with a new entro card still no sign of expanded use.. man this really sucks !"!

Excuse me powerbid, i am not a novice in this game, of course i do not know everything and im sure not one of us do.

If you dont have a credit card on file and you need 1 to raise limits, add it, it will send the deposits if they dont ring paypal and ask why they are not . Then go to entropay and ask the helpdesk who will give you the deposits manually. They dont show on statement!

hey i didnot mean to offend you at all.. but it seemed that u r not getting the point here .. it might have worked for u but it is not working for some of us here either.. all these efforts and discussions are to make things clearer and more comprehensible for everyone..

2ndly paypal doesnt send deposits to entropay it just charge 1£ and give expanded use number and oh yes i know how to contact entropay help desk if it gets to tthat stage.. anyway will figure it out sooner or later !!

Just make a new account. or ring paypal mate.
Might be a paypal glitch.
Just recreate the accounts, same detail (as long as that account isnt on hold) and you'll be ok. then go through everything

Did NOT work for me. Both PayPal & eBay refuse to accept it

Where in the world did you open your Entropay card?

Yes, Paypal will charge you in little amount, depend on your currency. It is about USD 1.95 or £ 1.00 or EUR 1.50. BUT, after your enter confirmation code that you get in billing statement, Paypal will refund it into your Paypal balance. So, after you enter confirmation code from Paypal/veryfied your Paypal account, please check your Paypal balance. Hope this explanation help you.

Do entropay VCC work to verify stealth amazon account aswell?
I purchased amazon ghost but entropay wasn't in the list of gift/prepaid cards to work with amazon.uk.
I live in London/UK btw.
