Old paypal limited, new one -same bank acc?
 

Hi there,

So my paypal account was limited about 8 months ago. I tried creating a new account from the same computer/IP address but that didn't work as it got limited.

I got my friend to make me a new paypal account, with the same name as the one that got limited but a different address and different computer/IP address of course...

Now, if add the same bank card/account as the one that was linked to the account that got limited, will paypal see the similarity and limit this new paypal account too?

That would happen because you are linked. Everything must be new, including IP access.

Be responsible, eh. Make your own accounts & do not ruin a friendship.

It is not (usually) possible to add the same bank account to a new account. You get a message bank account used before.

Here's your problem. Make what choice you like. You are not making new accounts the correct way to beat paypal/ebay.

Ideally, you should be a new stealth you. Read around the forum. Lots of info that explains this in depth.

But, if I just keep my name the same and keep everything else different (house address, IP address, new bank card, phone number), are the chances of this new one getting limited still high?

Also, if I missed something that I have to keep different, please let me know...

Last Q, can the card that was linked to my old, limited paypal account be removed from that account?

what can, can't and should be done are three different things.

What you should do is create everything new.

But i can't create a new home address... and it has to be the same as the billing address i have, so im not so sure what to do about that now...
