Need bank ccount in UK, as you now NEED to link VERIFIED PP to EBAY!
 

I opened a new ebay/PP acount yesterday, everything was going fine. Used Entropay as my credit card, voip to do the phone, made a sellers account, listed some items...

Then today when I come to list some more items, it tells me the PayPal account I've linked isn't verified, as I hadn't added a bank acount, (I was planning on just moving money from the paypal to another paypal which is verified to my bank account, (but is linked to a finished ebay acount), so I can actually withdraw the money.)

And now won't let me list anymore items.

So is there anyway in the UK to open a bank account online or any virtual bank accounts that can recieve the two PP deposits?

go to barclays.co.uk sign up online, they post you a few forms and u sign and bang u got an account. No need to visit the branch then sign in online and do everything online. Simple ;)

How did you manage to use VOIP? Did ebay actually call you on your VOIP service? How did ebay contact you?

Have you used this phone service with ebay uk in the past 5 weeks? I know they have numbers for London but do they have numbers for the rest of the UK?

Works for Ebay, not paypal

ah ok, but does the phone number need to match for both bay n pal?

It will probably be just as quick to open up an account in a branch.
