stealth account paypal issues
 

ok so here goes

after struggling to convince the guy behind the counter at the bank i finally got a bank account


i added the details as requested by paypal my sort code and bank account

i confirmed the account details

then BANG we would like to call you pops up

relising that i have a stealth mobile number that they was about to call me on i pressed cancel

added my real phone number to it

READDED my sort code and account number

that **** comes up

what was the point in having na stealth mobile number if i cant even use it and add another one

no one told me they would try and ring me on that number


now im going to have to try and convince then on the phone to help me knowing full well im strealth i have know got to lie about my info etc just to get this sorted im so annoyed its unreal

anyone got any suggestions

Never ever had p/p request to speak directly when adding a bank account.

Which bank?

Exactly what information did you add to p/p when attaching the bank account?

What's the problem with them calling you on a mobile number used for the stealth account, that's what it's for!

Why on earth did you think it wise to add your real phone number?

Sounds to me as if you have messed up the reg info somehow.

i didnt create the account a seller on this forum sold it to me and created it for me

so by not thinking they would try to call me like you thought they did

iv added one of my real mobile numbers so they could ring me but now it wont let me add my bank account anymore

Is the bank account activated?
Put some money in the bank & do a withdrawal first. The same thing happened to me before, I activated it and it worked.

the bank is activated i put some money in it i opened the account a couple of days ago i put 4 pounds in there

What type of bank account?

Have you spoken to the seller as well?

If you have ALL of your Stealth accounts info handy, Just call them, I bet they just Blocked the bank account number because you changed the Phone number, in order to reverse that you are most likely gonna have to call, what is the worst that can happen?,,you lose the account,,So What, Make another,

i just phoned them up and they said there was a glitch in the system and added my account right away

now i face another problem it asks in the direct debit section of the website the address and location of my bank

my stealth account says i live in nottingham

and my bank location and address there asking for is located in suffolk


will this be a problem later on

can they communicate with the bank now that they know the address adn its no were near my house location on the account

Thats NOT an issue here in the US particularly if the Bank has many locations, I honestly cannot see it being a Problem there either, why would it be so hard to believe ( If you are Paypal) that you like to keep your money in a specific bank? Maybe you lived in that area Prior to where you live now,,or maybe a friend or family member works there, ect, ect,,,I would give Paypal the information they want and NOT worry about it

No, it will not be a problem and p/p have no legal right to communicate with your bank.
