vcc card due to expire
 

Hi,
I have a UK verified stealth PP account.
My vcc card is due to expire.

I do not use ebay and I do not use the vcc card for any payment.

My question is:
Am I obliged to update my vcc or I can leave the current one to expire without consequences for my pp account?

When the expiry date passes, the card will automatically be removed from your account.

You will get emailed reminders to add another card but nothing will happen to you if you don't.

Thank think is on my PP. It got expired a year ago. I got an email reminder and that's it. PP works great, no problems.

Although you do not need to update or add a new card when this one expires it is advisable to have a 'live' one on the account as it makes p/p feel more secure that you have a backup payment method on file.

The less risk you pose to p/p the happier they are and will leave your account to chug along without any undue attention.

Yes I should of added that my PP is fully verified with checking account, EIN, address, phone etc. so yeah PP doesn't really worry about having up-to-date credit card and the account had positive balance for the last few years.

As a well known UK supermarket's slogan goes

I would still have a valid cc on file - you can add a new one without problems - if you use the account to buy things, make sure it does not dip into your bank account unless you want it to.
