Adding a bank account to UK Paypal

I went to add a UK bank account to my UK paypal,
and i now see they have a drop down box,
where you are able to add a USA bank account.

This is news to me!!!
But i must say its pretty cool

I wonder if it means it will be easier for the US sellers on here?
