How to deal with invoice for real Chinese goods
 

if i am selling genuine custom electronics goods from china,

and ebay or paypal ask for supplier invoices and where i get my items from,

do i simply supply an invoice

why the hell should i give my source for products to ebay or paypal? its like the equivalent of me going to some shop and asking who their supplier is,

When you signed up to use both ebay/paypal, there were T&S for both parties.
In them is their implied rights to ask for whatever they like.

Have you been asked yet or are you being a Boy Scout and being prepared?

Users often ask if they can supply random details OF A SUPPLIER if their goods are Chinese.

by the way random details have worked for me many times and paypal never called to check anything, they simply lifted limitations...EU details.

To the OP (Original poster) PP can and may check the details.

If you know your supplier just ask them to provide invoices for what you need, most are willing.

If not then you need to be creative and make sure you have access to the phone number you put on the invoice to take a call from PP if they do indeed decide to call you......It does happen regardless of what anyone else has to say....if they do just tell them you not willing to discuss anything.

yes, im basically wanting to setup stealth on ebay/paypal so getting everything prepared.

im going to get a new bank account on a new address (which i have access to).

and i think i will need a virtual credit card for the paypal.

The only other things im checking are the the bits where ebay may ask for supplier invoices, and then i read they even ask for a photo of yourself with the item?

im preparing for everything in advance.

at which point do ebay/paypal normally request supplier invoices?
is it after reaching certain selling limits?

what is your guys experiences of this? i mean, i don't expect to sell thousands, its going to take me a while to start building up sales.

at the same time, im going to be building my own ecommerce site simultaneously, so i can grow,and eventually the long term aim is to have everything go through an ecommerce site, and preferably without the need for paypal eventually!
