confirming bank acc help

ive made another stealth acc which im trying to confirm, i need to find 4 digit code next to the £0.01 balance, but this is what ive got:

REM 023526285010101 PAYPAL COD SETTLEMENT CYCLE: DATE 22AP13

which is the 4 digit code???? in that line above ^^^

btw its a halifax isa account

It usually says exp right before it on the transaction look around for exp in your cards transaction history

@OP, you are trying to confirm a cc right? The bank account doesnt play here.

If its not clear, call up your cc provider and ask for the 4 digit code - they will see it on your FINAL posting. What you are seeing seems to be an authorisation IN PROGRESS - maybe give it a day then

It is a bank account verfication. This is one of the two ways to verify UK paypal.

OP, if the code is still not showing after a few days, first port of call would be the bank. The issue may well be that it is an ISA account.

Expect to have problems with the ISA.

its not for a vcc, its for a halifax bank account savings isa ,

its showing the amount and its showing that line that i posted above , :(

On my Halifax accounts the code number is available instantly via online banking. I think the issue maybe the ISA.

Sorry then on my end - got thrown off by the confirming part vs. verification of bank account

the issue may be that you are adding your own credit/debit card to a stealth account

and the name/address dont match and it has caused an error

He said confirming and the type of account, ie, ISA.
[That's a special type of savings account that can be problematic with paypal by virtual of its structure.]

Other issue is halifax bank. (bank has had some issues lately).

Try click on 023526285010101 you will see the code under, it happen to me but is Barclays Bank i do not know for Halifax just try

i did this with halifax and i forget how i got the code....think i printed paper statment and it showed on there.


Do you realize these accounts are not really any good for stealth at all unless you plan to change bank account at a later date.

Like PP limitations arn't enough lol.
