Topping up entropay,

do you have to transfer the money from an actual bank account or can you go into the bank that they have specified and put the cash straight into their account?

new to entro pay so just doing as much research as possible

i think you have to do it online pal

upload funds from your bank to your main card

then you can transfer funds to other entropay cards you may have created

You do it online in 2 ways: upload from your bank or use a real credit card of yours as a funding source (I do the latter - much easier for me anyways).

entropay is usually funded by a transfer from either your debit or credit card.

Sometimes a bank transfer can be done if entropay have allowed that with your account. Disadvantage is a bank transfer takes several days. ( at least with my UK accounts they do).

Nice as it might be, you can not go to a bank and deposit funds.
Easier to do everything online.

Hi People :-)

Apologies; I know this a really old thread, but I'm really struggling with this too. I'm an entropay newbie too!

I'm trying to make a bank payment online (entropay says I can't use a credit card to do this yet), but I'm unable to do it as entropay don't list a sort code, only an account number, but my online banking requires both. I've emailed entropay but haven't yet had an email back...I was wondering if any of you might be able to help me?

Do I need to provide a specific funding source to top up an Entropay card or can I top it up from multiple sources ?

Really not sure what you are asking here??

An Entropay account can be topped up using either a credit / debit card or by bank transfer. You could use both methods if you wanted to.

OK, Suppose a friend owed me £50 could he top up my card with his CC ?

Yes, he has to add the card in first.
