Paying for an item using a real credit card

Hi guys,

I want to buy a product from ebay but the buyer says that they only accept paypal.

I just wanted to ask whether it would be ok to link a real credit card (which is linked to my paypal bank account) to my paypal account so that I can pay the buyer through paypal by using the money on my card, as I have not got enough funds in my paypal account at the moment. I know that adding funds to a stealth paypal account from my bank account is a big no no, as the details do not match, and wanted to know whether I could just link my credit card and pay using that instead.

I also wanted to ask whether I could just pay by credit card when it tells me to login to paypal or do I have to link it to my account first.

Register your real credit card to the stealth address of your pp account. Name is not an issue. I have done this for a real cc used on stealth buyer account.

You can pay via cc only as well but make sure NO LINKS (i.e. no cookie sharing, cc has not been used with old account, etc.)

Can I just ask if I use the cc on its own without linking it to my stealth account will it automatically get linked anyway as I will be using the same i.p. address as the one that I use with my stealth paypal account. Also can I use my real home address to send the item to or will I have to stick with the address I have on my stealth account if I do not link it to my paypal account.

Technically if you changed the registered address on a cc it would work but it would have an impact on your individual credit rating in the UK. Agencies use a scoring system based around address resolution.

Overall it is bad advice to do this in the UK. That's a big difference between the different countries.

Since you have a credit card I suggest you use this to fund an entropay account or use the 3v voucher . This way you are reducing your hassles with addresses.

It's not wise to use your old banned address EVER. You also run a risk of a seller reporting you to ebay because of address differences

Before you do anything please understand you need to tweak this current plan.

Hello, I want to add my real credit card to the steal paypal account so I can buy something from eBay and pay for it, but I want to know how does the verification work and if I change the address to an address that share the same zip code as the billing address on my credit card, does that work? Please help me, thanks!
