| | Receiving limit reached, use another paypal to accept payment for eBay goods? Hi all
I'm currently selling goods on ebay however my receiving limit has been reached on my paypal account, i'm planning to get it verified however this is going to take a couple of weeks
In the meantime can i use my relatives paypal account to accept payments for ebay goods. I guess i will have to unlink my current paypal and relink my relatives from ebay
just checking if this is safe as you all know PayPal love to limit accounts and such
thanks |
| Ebayorbust | 06-20-2013 12:37 PM | DONT remove and attach another paypal. This is asking for BIG trouble.
Lift the receiving limit. Job done. |

what about opening a new ebay account, that would work right? |
| Ebayorbust | 06-20-2013 12:43 PM | So long as it is completely UNLINKED to the other account. |

| Ebayorbust | 06-20-2013 12:53 PM | Oh dear. That would also be a mistake. Take some time and read around the forum and you'll find out why.
All the best. |

thanks | This will be considered by eBay to be trying to get around account limits and will cause instant ban if some human takes a look at those accounts. |
ok thanks for the help...
i dont understand why i cant use my fathers ebay + his paypal.. it has no link to me, whatsoever apart from we live at the same address so why would it cause an issue? |

so can i use a relatives account (fathers) to sell from?
different ebay + different paypal... it has nothing to do with my account so surely there's nothing wrong with this? | It is technically possible. Don't use the same internet connection to log into both accounts, though.
Two possible issues:
ONE: If your items are unique, they COULD link you that way. If they are not unique, it should be fine.
TWO: It is NEVER a good idea to use the account of a friend or relative. If anything happens, they could lose THEIR account. Also, if anything goes south, they could wind up owing money for eBay fees or to PayPal. That could put a strain on your relationship. There are all kinds of heartbreaking stories here - just search and see for yourself what I mean. |
You really need to read more elim, as EbayorBust said, if you read around you will find out why using someone else's account is a bad idea. |
technically my receiving limit is not reached yet. it has around £12 remaining which i purposely left so i wouldn't get limited.
would this make a difference?
i would be selling very similar items on my fathers account and it would be for around a week while my other account gets verified. |

STOP. DONT DO ANYTHING WITH OTHER INFO.
You want to keep selling? Make new eB/pp combo and rebuild - let this old PP cool down for rest of the selling period...GO SLOW. Be careful |

why is it so damn difficult to sell goods on ebay -.- |
| gulaga | 06-21-2013 04:30 PM | the review should take 2-3 days...at least this was the time needed for few accs of mine which i have handled within the past week.
you are far from knowing how to operate link free so the best you can do now
is to send in your dox and wait for the review comeout.
if your fathers acc is registered on the same address as your main acc you might get
both suspended for selling similar items. these two accs have been already linked, make mistake with one, most probably you loose both. |

Why will it take a couple of weeks to get verified? Explain that
Please make sure you do nothing to endanger your account and your Dad's account |

I've been waiting approx 8 days on some accounts in the last few weeks. |

Its not that hard to sell on ebay, its just quite difficult and take time to start afresh, you need to build trust with them and this is there way.
You need to plan ahead and make a few accounts so next time ones shut down you have others to fall back on.
How you think your father would feel if he got bad feedback or you make a mistake and link it and its get shut down ? |
