Will transfer of funds work?

http://www.aspkin.com/forums/paypal-...imitation.html

Read the above thread and have a question.

I have just tried to withdraw money to an old bank account which was linked with a limited account. Will it still go through? Thanks

GreenBean 07-29-2013 05:41 AM

More than likely not.

Do you have two limited accounts ( which you may have linked now)?

Hi Green, did you create a new thread for this?

Yes, I've used a bank account to try and withdraw which will now probably be linked. I didn't want to open a new bank account just for 1 withdrawal as it will then be linked to this limited paypal.

Withdrawal says ''pending review''. Am I doomed? Worried they will try to limit me twice or something? Thanks

AKasper 07-29-2013 05:56 AM

Yes to answer your question simply, 2 limited accounts will now probably be linked.

Lot is going to depend on the time the 1st transfer was done.

Are we talking months or longer?

What do you mean first transfer? The time i tried to withdraw money from limited pp account?
I received email today telling me i could withdraw funds, so I added old bank account and then hit withdraw

You can use the account as long as you don't get an error from paypal saying something like "This bank account is already in use, can only be used on one account, etc..."

If it helps, you do not have to verify the account in order to make the withdrawal.

So the old bank account was accepted? No message of "This bank has been used before"?!?

If so - and your process shows as pending - past experiences and posts have indicated that the amount will go through. Keep the forum posted on the news.

Hi. Can confirm that the withdrawal was successful, even though I used my personal bank account which was associated with an old limited PP account. It said pending first for 24 hours, then I received email this morning saying money will appear in 2 hours, which it has!

They did ask for phone no. verification and security checks to make sure the new added bank account was mine though

This is great news.

Get the funds out of the bank quickly.

One for the good guys.

Close the bank account out as well unless it has other purposes for you in your life...
