Once again I've reached the dreaded £1900 Paypal limit, I misunderstood what Paypal meant when they said I had 130 days to sort it out, I was only a week or so into the 130 days when I reached the £1900 limit and now my Paypal account has been limited... FFS!
This has put me in quite an awkward situation because I've only just had my 21 day hold removed within the past fortnight which I'd really been looking forward to. So I've gone on a mad selling spree and I have over £400 worth of bids on my current eBay listings that all end this coming Sunday. Now its looking like I wont be able to accept Paypal payments when these items sell.
Anyway to lift the £1900 limit I've gone through the procedure for Paypal to confirm my identity, which of course because I'm a 'stealth operative' the ID check failed and Paypal have requested I fax / upload documents (Photo ID / Proof of Address). I've done this . Does anyone know how long its likely for Paypal to check my documents and hopefully unlimit my account?
I'll completely gutted if I get banned again cos I've worked all year to build this account up to being something good and the thought of having to start over again.. grrr! I feel like packing it in and just getting a crappy 9-5 office job like I did before I became an eBay trading whiz.
I know that I should be fluent at this by now, and I know I should be operating multiple accounts and spreading the sales so I dont reach this annual limit before you point this out. Its just everytime I get complacent, and then when I end up losing my current eBay seller account I have to start from scratch with zero feedback, selling limits etc etc. Its just I havent got my head around running multiple Windows user accounts... I think its about time I learned how...
So what does anyone think? How long will Paypal take to check my docs? Should I phone / email them to try speed things up?
thanks!
