Bank Account and best methods for stealth paypal

okay guys,

so basically ive heard of some people having more than 50 stealth accounts.

and since the best ratio is 1 ebay account to 1 paypal account does this mean, 50 bank accounts are needed?

is it even OK to open this many accounts?

If i was to open a new bank account say each month, would this not raise any suspicions?

Ebayorbust 08-17-2013 01:28 PM

Looks like the swear filter caught your mis-spelling of accounts, lol.

Some people may have 50 paypal accounts but many will be unverified or have savers attached. That said it is fairly easy to get a lot of accounts. Opening basic accounts is the best move.

There are also many banks that allow the opening of multiple savings accounts online too.

You do not have to add a solid acct to a new acct.
That is what vba's and vcc's are for.

Work the acct and then when it is worthwhile add the bnk acct.

ah ok,
thank you for the information.

i recently had my account shut down and i had a bank account added, it just seems a waste of bank....

but at least now i can only add a bank account once it turns out to be worthwhile...

does anybody know any banks where accounts can be opened online fairly easily?

UK does not have VBAs.

Other point ( although not quite relevant) is ebay co uk 'expects' sellers to have a fully verified paypal attached to their account(s).

There are several differences between UK Stealth accounts and USA ones.
Usual premise for UK is to sell with paypal verified & that requires a bank account.

Now you are not thinking.

How are you going to get your funds out?

Re-read Ebayorbust's post.

There are options to opening bank account, including making them online.

I don't agree with adding a bank account when you might think it's worthwhile. I feel adding a bank account helps it stay under the radar.

A verified PP is always good to have - shows some value for the account.

I agree.

for UK accounts, I have found going into sell with a fully verified and confirmed paypal has been a big plus.

Since we are 'stealth' I always try to make the account as normal as possible....

Been doing it this way since 2007 without dramas.

I was chit-chatting with a CS rep for one of my banks and was talking about having the need for many different savings accounts( I have an excuse I use when they ask me).

Anyway's the rep told me that he knows of one customer who has 1000 savings accounts, so I don't think having a few accounts at different banks is going to raise too many red flags.

There are legitimate reasons to have multiple savings accounts.

There are always legitimate reasons for having multiple bank accounts.

Problems arise when customers open and close bank accounts too quickly in a given time frame.

It's their idiocy that makes the problems.

Yes there are legitimate reasons but every case is different - cant just assume it is ok to do this.

But always worthwhile forming strong relationship with banks
