| | | Emaandar | 08-20-2013 12:32 PM | Do you guys ALWAYS need a bank account? okay, so basically i opened up an account last year and im still selling on that account without ever verifying the paypal account attached to it...
however. today, i opened a new account and when setting up the seller account and list my first item at just 99p, i was asked to attach a verified paypal account?
is this because i set up the ebay account before the paypal?
or is it hit and miss with these kinds of things and this is just bad luck? |
Recommendation is still to use a bank account to VERIFY pp BEFORE selling.
Some people do sell with unverified pp but that takes experimentation and skill |
| JamesNorth101 | 08-27-2013 01:05 PM | Its much more stable to use a bank account attached to a PayPal, keeps them and eBay happy, its also a lot easier to cash out with a bank account, but it is possible to eBay without a verified PayPal, takes skill though. |

It takes experience of stealth, and the skill (knowledge) to know how to run an account without a bank account. |
| Ebayorbust | 09-02-2013 01:28 AM | There's so many limits imposed on an unverified paypal account that it really isnt worth doing.
Spending time getting more bank accounts would be more productive than trying to sell with an unverified paypal. |

because it doesn't seem possible, and please don't say "everything's possible"...
eBay required a verified paypal account to be added before any selling can be done, using a previous verified paypal account would just make a link and theres doesn't seem to be any other way tbh. |
| JamesNorth101 | 09-05-2013 05:15 PM | eBay can be sold on with just a confirmed PP (VCC attached), does not need to be verified. |

I do agree that it is perfectly possible to sell with an unverified paypal. |

I posted that for the benefit of others in case they tried it.
OP, there is no big secret to selling with an unverified paypal but there is a specific order to do things which reduces the chances of getting hit with the request to verify paypal.
I have in the past taken ebay accounts with unverified paypal attached to 50+ feedback and 130 / £3800 selling limits before I verified the paypal.
With respect, I'm not posting this method here on the open forum. |
Problem is that for new users just learning stealth, they are likely to miss crucial steps and try and push for sales...resulting in more bans - good point Ebayorbust |

| So its possible to open a eB sellers account, and use PP to receive funds without EVER attaching a bank account to the PP?
I would like to know, as I would like some low key disposable stealth accounts for the purpose of testing new items. |
| Ebayorbust | 09-08-2013 09:11 AM | Yes, it is possible.
The main issue is getting the money out of paypal. Buying stuff is the usual way to do it if there is no bank to withdraw to. |

You also will have to have a method to get the money out the PP (if you wish to do so) that does not involve a bank accounts. |

Be aware though that ebay may tell you to verify your paypal.
Does not happen often.
But they can do so.
Good Luck
