Urgent paypal help :(
 

Hey all

I sold some goods through a forum using my own legit paypal account account.
For some reason paypal linited my account andd placed about 15 transactions on hold. I provided tracking numbers for all the transaction and 3 days later so far they have reversed 2 payments, the items have been recieved by the buyers and paypal have gave them the money back also, what can i do?

If the account is under your real name I would give them a call to find out what's happening. Don't use their premium number call them at local rate on: 020 8605 3000 (press option 1)

Also buy the stealth guide so all your eggs arn't in one basket

You must ring up PP and tell them to stop this - you have proof and you expect PP to cooperate. Now...its not 100% foolproof but I would push back now before money is returned back.

Get all your info together.

Phone them.

Make sure your number is the one on file.

Fight now.

pp claims they are the easy and safe way to transfer money..but i know so many people who are limited just sending money and using their service.. Why are these stories never posted on the wall street blogs on how great pp is?

In the end paypal didnt give me the money. They said payments werent authourised by the buyers lol
I said hows that possible there are 4 different transaction from different people and they are all unauthorised ?
And all the buyer have recieved their goods and are happy with them, they werent having it :(
I even showed them messages from the buyers that they were happy with products, for one of the transactions i sold an item on ebay and even had a positive feedback.
The didnt give the money they reversed . They said ask the buyers to send it to your bank instead . Or contact the police , wtf.
Then i said i should be telling police about you paypal as you are the thieves that are stealing my money and returning it.

All together they reversed 4-5 transactions totalling approx £700

Sadly PP took the easy way out and screwed you over...sigh...can only hope that the buyers are honest people who will forward payment to you but...not a great situation OP
