Stealth paypal account now verified, but..
 

I attached the bank account and got it verified. All limits were lifted except for the receiving limit of £1900.00 per year. Now before i had added this bank account i did see a bit where it told me to confirm my address with a debit/credit card. I can no longer see that. (edit: i found it apologies)

When i go to Add funds, i only have the options of adding funds through a bank account. Now is it safe to add funds (using bank transfer or direct debit) using a Santander bank account. Should i actually go on to to lift the receiving limit just yet? (Would they just ask me to confirm the address, or is that the part where ID /docs are required?).


For the moment, i am not planning to sell on eBay with this account just yet, however i do plan on sending money using this new stealth account.

If you want to send money, you will need to fund it via a VCC, not your bank account.

To lift the £1900 limits, you must send in the required IP

So soon as i fund it with a bank account they will see a mismatch of names?

They will see the mismatch because a receipt from the bank is generated - the question is will PP do something? Unlikely, based on one time funding reported by some users here - still, when you can fund purchases with a VCC to avoid this, I would.

At this stage, avoid a bank account transfer. Real name is on such transfers.

Fund the paypal via vcc.

If you have the ID, you can submit it now to have the £1900 limit lifted.

Nooby question regarding funding a stealth bank account
 

I have confirmed the debit card for my stealth Paypal by confirming the code on my statement, however would like to know how to add funds to Paypal using this card?

I can not see the debit card option when i go to Add Funds, is it that Paypal will prompt me for this when im about to actually send money.. .. I was under the impression i can add the money from the card to my PayPal balance.

I swore I just answered this question on another thread....same question...cant find it...ugh.

Please see your other thread - I posted a reply. Bank only for uploading funds but you might be able to fund purchases...have you tried to buy?

Right, Well I'll be sending money shortly to someone, and i was hoping to fund my Paypal with the card before sending it. I guess i wouldn't have that option?

So in effect when paying Ebay fees or even using a stealth paypal just for buying, it is ideal that a bank account is not used to fund this, correct? Instead use a card.

P.S Haven't used it for buying yet and i cant see your other reply. :s

Ah i can see this now. I'm guessing a lot of us are still funding stealth using bank accounts right? Possible to due the negligence on the mismatch of names.

No no no...most just pay for things with a VCC....or with balance of sales. Never need to upload funds from bank account (or VERY rarely)
