Problems Withdrawing Today? Anyone Else?

Hi guys,
My stealth paypal account has been running perfect for the last year or so, withdrawing whenever I like and transferring pretty much instantly.
Tried withdrawing this morning and it instantly got rejected.
Got the message:

Your withdrawal request was refused due to processing issues or rejection by your bank. We have returned the funds to your PayPal account.

Anybody else having this issue? Tried again with the same response.

Also got this email:

Dear ****,

You recently made the following request to withdraw funds from your PayPal account to your bank account:

Amount requested to be withdrawn from PayPal: £500.00 GBP

Bank account: Halifax ***

Transaction ID: ***

However, this withdrawal request was declined by your bank for one of the following reasons:

The bank account number does not exist or is invalid
The bank branch listed in your PayPal account does not exist
The bank does not accept electronic withdrawals

Despite paypal saying they have removed my bank account, they haven't.
Is this just a temporary glitch?

Another not so wonderful glitch.

paypal has been having glitches for months.

You are the 3rd person to mention Halifax as the bank.

ps, my last issue was a temp. limitation notice on an RBS associated bank.

Made the effort to call in..... 'what notice' was the question.....later when I checked all clear.

Situation typical paypal.

I did have a search but couldn't seem to find any others having the problem.
Is it a glitch an paypals side that will get sorted?

I'll be leaving it a day or 2 before trying to withdraw again as I've already tried twice today

Myself and a friend are having problems today too..

Noticed that when we try to withdraw, it doesn't go through, but takes 50p from the balance in your PayPal account.

I guess it'll be fixed later hopefully!

To add, this is my real account which I withdraw twice a day from, so I'm sure it's nothing you've done wrong.

I Googled and found a site where people had the problem in 2011, so I guessed maybe it's a cyber attack at PayPal and they have to suspend payments out until it's sorted. (crazy imagination there lol).

Still getting payments coming in though.

Well hopefully things will be back to normal soon. I'll give withdrawing a go tomorrow and let you know how I get on.

Also still receiving payments just fine and also able to spend the paypal balance ok, just not withdrawal!

I have also problem, I saw on paypal comunity that other has issue as well.
I have my real account and almost have a heart attack when faced with problem.

Great to hear its working again! I'm still going to give it a day or so as I don't want to pull up a flag for trying so many times in one day

I think it's been broken for a lot of people, but whatever you think is best, always best to be cautious.
