Large PayPal withdrawal!
 

Hey everyone,

I recently listed a few high valued items on eBay, to be paid into my UK verified PayPal (my personal one, just had the receiving limits raised as well, acct is a couple years old)

I've read a lot of horror stories about trying to withdrawal a large amount of money from PP to bank acct (ie. 72 hour to 180 day holds, etc etc)

I'll be looking to withdrawal about £3000, ideally in one swift swipe - it can either goto my UK bank acct or I could send to a Canadian PayPal (verified) I also have (I travel between UK and Canada quite frequently)

Any suggestions? I have some pending financial needs, so I want to make sure I do this quick and painless.

All depends on the paypal account history and the amount of money that has gone through it before.

Normal best advice is to withdraw it slowly in smaller amounts over a period of time.

As above, all down to the account history.
I have an account where I'd comfortably withdraw 5k in a week with no problems yet I have another account where I feel like I'm pushing my luck doing £500.
Just don't do anything too out of the ordinary and you SHOULD be ok.

@OP, is this your FIRST withdrawal on the account? How old is the account? Important questions to assess risk.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I seem to of gotten away with it! I withdrew each payment as they came in, rather then one massive payment.

I let the money sit first...I recieve £1000 within first week of accounts going live lol
