Default What name to use with paypal?

Wow I have been reading for over an hour for an answer.

I am nearly there as far as getting back on. I got a new Santander acc yesterday. I have gone through all other changes required but am confused as to when I get to registering with pay pal.

Do I use my "Alias" I used on ebay? Must be. I can't put my real name I opened my new account in. Do I need a vcc or can I just link direct to bank?

Please help I have been stuck for over a month now.

Welcome to the forums.

You create a stealth name or name variation. You need a VCC to CONFIRM the pp and a bank account to VERIFY the pp.

What other questions from your reading of stealth method?

Name variation in the UK is risky.

Not the type of thing to experiment over. Known that accounts get looked at manually.

I think you will have to vary your name though....

If you use exactly the same name on paypal as your bank account you will probably get linked.

I just vary my name on paypal by one or two letters.. seems to be ok so far.

Where did you get that idea from as it is dangerous.

Your info should be new with nothing to link you to old suspended info

Number one rule of stealth

No, that's not the case. Your name alone will not link your account.

I realize that with the manual review - sorry, am just experimenting around myself too. Just staying below the radar at this time

So Started up new ebay account. Let it age for a week. Gone to list an item today (t shirt) Then sent to pay pal to add debit card( I had already registered with paypal but not verified with the code from bank yet) Used same name and address I used to set up ebay account and I got this message.

The bank that issued your card didn't approve this transaction. Please contact the card issuer's customer service department if you have any questions. Or you can add a different card now to continue.

WTF. I used my real address last time and they wanted me to send I D to them. This time I used different address. Set up to new santander account and got this. Anybody any idea why?
