Paypal appeal refused.......BUT

Hi, well my PP got limited, uploaded the info they wanted than i got this message:

After reviewing your PayPal account, we’ve determined there to be excessive
risk involved and would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is
least disruptive to your business.

If there are funds in your account, the remaining account balance will be
held until you provide a valid Proof of Identity and Proof of Address. If
you’re unable to complete the appeals process for your PayPal account,
access to the account will remain limited. In accordance with our User
Agreement, the money in your PayPal account balance may be held until you
provide us with a valid proof of identity and a valid proof of address. The
balance is held to cover any disputes that may be filed against your
account.

You can open a new PayPal account using your name and last name as it shown
on your Proof of Identity. If you wish to use the financials registered in
your PayPal account in your new account you need to provide the following
documents:

Hmm even so, why would you want to do that? They will end up limiting THAT pp because of link to this one - dont even think about it.

Either call them up and try pushing one last time - or go stealth

no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a horrible message to try to tempt you to get linked.

Did you double-check your paypal account too?

Avoid their offer at all costs.

It means you need to determine if this is authentic.

It then means you need to decide if you would risk such an offer if proven true.

You know how devious paypal are.

Be careful.

Re: Paypal appeal refused.......BUT

My first time through the eB-ban circus I called eB and said I'd read that I could start a business account, even if my personal account was banned, if I opened an LLC. I asked if this was true.

eB rep said yes. It shouldn't be a problem.

I then spent $2,000 becoming a seriously legit business seller. Even though I was living off of unemployment at the time and I had to put it all on credit cards, I didn't just shove a EIN through legalzoom and be done with it. I went all out. Wrote a business plan. Acquired investors for both preferred and regular stock in my new company. Hired an obscenely expensive lawyer to write-up contracts for the investors. Became an official vendor for a Fortune100 company....

Created a new eB account. Got 60 positive feedback and then called eB to see if they'd raise my limits.

Guy linked me while I was on the phone with him. He asked if I'd ever had an account before and I said yes, a personal one. But this was a business account, right?

Nope.

Banned.

$2,000 and 3 months of my life flushed down the toilet because some eB rep f'ing lied to me. Not to mention the embarrassment of returning my investors' money to them with my tail tucked between my legs. I know all of them personally. "I told you your get-rich-quick scheme couldn't work!" they all said. "No one REALLY makes a living selling things on eB! I can't believe you were dumb enough to try!"

I was so embarrassed.

Then I found aspkin.

3 years later and I haven't worked for 17 months as I've taken a temporary retirement from my online sales to to live in China for a bit. My 20 year old, foreign, way-out-of-my-league girlfriend is sleeping in my bed behind me, and my friends who all told me it was impossible still have, on average, $90,000 in debt as they struggle through their 9-5's that are really 9-9's.

My friends who all laughed at me sometimes ask how I did it. I tell them it's not a big deal when my combined utilities are $18 USD/month and my rent is $300. That helps them believe that it's still not possible for someone who wants to live a "normal" life but in reality that's not the truth. What I should say is:

"I got really mad because some minimum wage eB rep dirtbag lied to me and almost ruined my life."

Do not ever listen to a f'ing eB rep ever in your life. Ever.

It should be noted that this story is the origin of my sig and menacing looking avatar. When I first got here I was very, very pissed off.

Hi OP

Can I ask did PayPal give you a time frame of when you had to upload the info they wanted?

Also do you mind if I ask what they were interested in seeing?

Thanks
J
