Halifax eSaver Rejection
 

Hi guys,

Never bad a problem with savers however my first one has been rejected.

Do I now think all savers don't work? With the below message I assume I need a new bank account?


Your bank has informed us that you are not able to use bank account ending xxxx to fund payments with PayPal. If you have a backup payment method linked to your PayPal account, we will use that source to fund any payments you make with PayPal.

How to make future payments with PayPal

If you don't have a backup payment method attached to your PayPal account, please link a card or a new bank account to your PayPal account. To do this, please visit https://www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your PayPal account. Go to Profile and then click My Money.

I think you should still be able to withdraw.

You only cant put money from your bank to payp.

I think I had this before on my hali savers but still all working after months.

Had this happen on last few I opened, but as said no problems with withdrawls so still good to use.

You really don't want to be trying that on ANY stealth account.

If there is a DD mandate set up (on a basic or current account), it allows Paypal to see the real name on the bank account.

If you ever want to buy anything with a stealth account and do not have funds in the account, use a VCC as the funding source, and NEVER use the bank account.
