Natwest saving account linked to paypal?
 

hi,

i recendly withdrawed some fund to my bank account , but today i got emaill from Paypal.

Your bank has informed us that you are not able to use bank account ending 5277 to fund payments with PayPal. If you have a backup payment method linked to your PayPal account, we will use that source to fund any payments you make with PayPal.

How to make future payments with PayPal

If you don't have a backup payment method attached to your PayPal account, please link a card or a new bank account to your PayPal account. To do this, please visit https://www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your PayPal account. Go to Profile and then click My Money.



so what other options can i use.

I have never managed to get Natwest savers to work... you will have to use a current account from Natwest. Or alternatively, open more bank accounts with other banks...

HSBC have a basic bank account that works great. You have to apply in branch and send off some paperwork so its not instant online stuff but it does work well.

I believe Barclays also has something similar.

hey wait just checked my bank online and looks like I got the payment .

Natwest savings account worked for me too. Completely different name, address, etc. However, on paypal it says something like "accept direct debit mandate" or something. There is a prepaid card attached and verified too. Been using this account for 8 months now, no problems yet.

yeah lol one of my account suspended when i was ... it was attached with lloyd TSB hmm lloyds bank. worried if they can steal money from em or something..

will i be worried for that

If it is a savings account, they can't really touch your account because your bank (Lloyds or TSB) will not let them access your money. If it a current account, cancel the direct debit mandate with your bank at the earliest. It is, however, possible that Lloyds or TSB may share your information with pp. Hasn't happened to me, but I've read that on the forum and I think it is there in the stealth book too.

Got the same message with my Halifax savers accounts, there still fine to use and withdraw you paypal money to you just can't fund paypal payments with it coz it's a savers account, nothing to worry about. Add a vcc if you want to fund payments

right my lloyds debit card will expire soon in 2 week.

after 2 weeks period i get replacment lloyds debit . will pp still know my information e.g address idk....

it got 38 quid cant restore it limitation against means cant be restored.

just wondering

im ok as got two stealth account with my current / saver Natwest :P
