Registered address
 

I've just set up a new account after being suspended from Ebay.

I have a family members name and address which I have also used for Paypal.

The bank account set up with paypal is my bank account (all my details) but the name on paypal is my family members.

When listing my first item it took me to paypal to add my card details including its registered address,

If I put my family members address as the cards registered address in stead on my own which is the correct one will it still work?

Or will paypal know that isnt where the card is registered?

If the card is not registered to the address you use then it will NOT pass the avs check.

Use a vcc

the long and short of it is, that the card needs to have the same postcode as the address used in pp.

Can You not say it does to paypal if it doesn't? Is there a way of them knowing I have told them the wrong address?

Would the best thing to do just to get a vcc just in case?

NO.
The postcode has to match, it does have its advantage to use a real cc but better to stick with the forums advice and get some ID ready :)
