| batts09 | 02-12-2014 08:27 PM | Hit £1650 Will paypal still require docs after the annual date is reset if I don't hit £1900? |
| easy.bake.oven | 02-12-2014 10:26 PM | Re: Hit £1650 Yes, I am sure they do |
| JamesNorth101 | 02-13-2014 04:06 AM | Re: Hit £1650 If you go over £1650 during any year then docs will be required. |
| GreenBean | 02-13-2014 05:25 AM | Re: Hit £1650  When did this change?
Not sure about this interpretation at all.

Providing you then do not then exceed the £1900 limit there is no need to submit any docs and the receiving limit will reset on the account anniversary date.
You can continue to buy on the account as normal but you do need to be careful of receiving refunds from any purchases as p/p will count this as income towards the £1900. |

| JamesNorth101 | 02-13-2014 10:00 AM | Re: Hit £1650 Agreed that there is no limitation at £1650 itself it simply triggers the request, but you do start the clock. If PP have not had ID within the set time frame then a limitation will be put on the PP account until the requested docs have been provided.
To avoid any of that happening the PP needs to remain under the £1650 limit |
| eternity4u | 02-13-2014 11:31 AM | Re: Hit £1650 When is the best time to send the docs?
Do they really check them? |

I have a few accounts at this stage and have not sent in any docs so I will wait and see for myself what happens because there are 2 different stories here :) and I got confused and also my post are sometimes confusing too so I think I will not give advice unless I personally have had the real deal experience as not to cause others any confusion :) - sp post number 2 on this thread please ignore as I have not had personal experience with this, but will soon. |

I'm pretty sure that only comes in when there is actually a limitation placed on the account e.g. once you exceed the £1900 |

Do they really check them? | The best time to send them is before you start to sell, others may disagree.
Yes, they do actually check them. |
| batts09 | 02-13-2014 04:55 PM | Re: Hit £1650 Thanks guys. I've got to sit out until 27th Feb before the reset date ...Paypal gave 135 days to upload docs after hitting £1650.
They certainly do check docs, I'm struggling on the £1900 limit - seems hit and miss to me....rotation rotation rotation thanks to the good advice on here & the book to keep hold of accounts |

Be careful there.

Yes, they do actually check them. | That is the better way I agree.
It's even suggested by paypal to do that IF there is an expectation of sales going over the requirements.
I have posted this before myself.

| JamesNorth101 | 02-13-2014 05:25 PM | Re: Hit £1650 Totally agree with Greenie and NoneOther here.
Getting the docs sent off is one of the first things I do with PayPal.
Better to know if there is an issue with them early on before lots of work has been put into the stealth. |

Address, DOB, BA sorted & verified, VCC confirmed at this stage. I guess you can leave eBay alone but you're still frying BAs which is the hottest comodity. |
| GreenBean | 02-13-2014 06:09 PM | Re: Hit £1650 @batts09
If you follow stealth, it should be a rare occasion to 'fry' a bank account.
Is it your selling practices that do this? If so, consider changing them

Least paypal is consistent.
LOL.

| NoneOther | 02-13-2014 06:40 PM | Re: Hit £1650 Think I've only ever let one account run to hit the £1650 limit before and never really noticed/remembered any timeframe on the docs request but I do recall that the request went away when the receiving limit reset. |
| Ebayance | 02-15-2014 03:38 PM | Re: Hit £1650 I have just opened a stealth PP. Verfied bank account, will add VCC. Do I understand that all new UK paypal accounts have this £1900 receiving limit and the only way around it is to send in docs?
