Paypal - confirm your mobile

Hi guys,

When logging into my Paypal account I receive a message saying 'For security reasons please confirm your mobile number' then options 'confirm now and send code' or 'remind me later', I keep pressing remind me later. Should I confirm my mobile number?

I don't think it's a absolute requirement to have a cell phone to have an eBay account, they are doing this to push everyone to have paypal on a mobile platform

I have accounts that I just have a landline listed and just always ignore that if it comes up and the accounts are over a year and no issue

This reminder can get quite annoying, so I finally added a mobile number to one of my accounts. It's good to have it, in case you need to call PayPal sometimes.

I'd advise doing it, very sinple step and keeps paypal happy.

I got this reminder on an account few months back - I decide to keep pushing for later...no issues so far
