My UK paypal account has just been limited to £1700 to be earned in one year. This can be lifted but i must provide my credit or debit card details. They say that this is needed to verify the address at which i reside at. I have already verified my paypal account by giving my bank details.

I suppose that if i give my credit card details over they will then have my real name and address details. Is there anything i can do to get around this?

I think that most people in the UK are using Entropay for credit card verification.

Entropay doesnt work to authenticate an ebay sellers account. tried it today.

Entropay works fine for both ebay seller accounts and paypal verification.

Easy, if your account is limited to £1700 per year then it has not been fully verified, to fully verify a UK paypal account you must: verify your bank account, credit card, complete phone verification and provide information to paypal regarding what you will be selling etc, once all these steps have been completed then you are fully verified.

Yea, it doesn't seem to work for me anymore either. I've used Entropay about 5 or 6 times in the past on Ebay, with great success. But the last Entropay card I bought and tried to use on Ebay was rejected for some reason. :(

First upon this statement I would like to say some words that the Sex Pistols would use as I just signed up with Entropay half hour ago. Upon that what are alternatives?
