Pre Paid credit card that gives a bank account and sort code
 

I am trying to find a pre paid credit card that gives me a bank account and sort code, so I can use it to verify a paypal account and later on have my paypal balance transferred to the card.

I searched this forum and elsewhere and all I could find was CashPlus, and there seems to be posts stating that paypal no more accepts it as a verification method or to withdraw the paypal balance.

Any help finding a prepaid CC with a sort/acc# that works with paypal would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Lots of options - be careful of any that have a 'generic' account number for all users to use.

Exactly! That's why I'm looking for ones like Cash Plus because they give you a unique account number and sort code. If you know anything that works for paypal verification PLEASE let me know :)

Others include:
Clear Cash (uses Cashplus's platform though)
Think Money
Secure Trust

But note that some of these are bank accounts that charge you a monthly fee.

You are better off building a solid relationship with one bank.

Clear Cash / Cash Plus have many derivatives so be careful you don't end up making multiple applications to the same company.

My paypal is already fully verified but I need card just so I can pay my supplier with, would i be ok adding a prepaid card to my paypal account and transferring my paypal funds to it then using it to pay my supplier?

The postcode registered on the card would need to match the postcode on the Paypal account.

So do you register the card in stealth details to match the paypal account details?

Do not sign up for these cards in stealth names. The accounts are backed by major UK banks.

Do I need to spell it out what is likely to happen to you if you attempt it?

The card wont add to paypal unless you change the registered address to the stealth address on paypal

It's my business address . as said above i rent the address and it is on my paypal account so I would open the card under my business address and real name and attatch this to my paypal account that also has my business address and real name so everything matches, all legit.

Just wondering if paypal see this (even though legit) as any kind of risk as a lot of fraud goes on these days and don't want my account getting unneeded attention, and secondly i will open card in my full real details only think that won't match to the paypal account is my date of birth on paypal account is wrong, this should be ok right?

Why don't you just sign up for Entropay and then all the issues mentioned above disappear?

It's a good service that works well for stealth. You create a main account using your real ID and fund with your Debit or Credit card. Bank transfers can be added later.

Once entropay is up & working, you use funds from your main account to make a Virtual Card to use for paypal.

All that is needed now is the number of that card to attach to your paypal. And you are ready to go.
