Problem with bank account to fund paypal after 5 days?
 

Got an email saying my bank is not able to be used to fund my pp account. I am still verified according to the status.

I used a Barclays esaving ac. Is this normal and should I leave it without adding a new one. If I do add a new one which one will be OK for them to accept and not have this problem again?

The problem is because the esaver does not have a dd facility.

If the account is still attached to paypal then you will be able to use it for withdrawal.

Thanks for the reply. I mainly need it for withdrawl only. In this case shall I just leave as it is then?

Yes leave it as it is it will be fine to withdraw any funds, got same message 6 months ago when I used Halifax saver and it's still working fine.

As it is its fine. If PP ever try to draw on the account though they will be unable to and the bank account will be removed from PP. Make sure you always have the funds in PP for fees and refunds to prevent this

Cool, so that's a thumbs up for many esaver accounts for withdrawal?

But not for verification? Is DD needed for that?

No problem withdrawing it works without a problem. Just keep some extra in pp account.
