180 Days over but no fund release
 

Hi, I've waited 180 days for my funds, well it's actually about 187 now, and I've called them twice, and was told to wait 72 hours for an email as they had to take a look at it and send it to the right department. That was about 6 days ago, no reply, I've emailed god knows how many times, no reply. What can I do? It's like I'm being ignored, and there's over £1500 in the account. Thanks

Double check the actual date the count down started....

When did you get the parting of the ways email?

Sometimes users have not informed paypal they are not going to sort out the limitation & the count down starts late.

If you had hassles at the time of the limitation, there may be loose ends with paypal.

That in turn effects your getting the funds back.

And you are right. You are being ignored at the moment.

Thanks for the reply, I got the first email stating they are parting ways on the 29th September, after sending in my ID and proof of address for the anti money laundering limit. Yes I've read about the countdown starting late, but nothing was mentioned on the phone when I told them the 180 days were up.

Also, when I rang up paypal when I first got limited, I was told to wait 180 days for the funds.

I had an account limited about a year ago and never received the parting ways email but didnt think anything of it as paypal were not sending emails regularly at the time.
So when the 180 days passed i waited another month and still nothing.
So i called paypal and they person on the other end told me i had to wait until the 1st of the following month and it would get released.. and it was.

I had to make excuse after excuse on the phone to get them to release it to.

I expect 25K May 1st. 180 days is sometime next week.
