Default e-cheque only

hi all

I can't not make a payment from my debit card to a friend who is fully verified.
We are both fully verified.

I get given the option of only an e-cheque

Has anyone else encountered this? What to do... I'm told it may be because I am using a pay as you go dongle for internet access.

Please advise

e-cheque is a perfectly acceptable mode of payment...why do you need instant transfer?

You need to add a card to your account to make immediate payment.
PayPal doesn't let most bank accounts do instant bank transfer.

Apparently paypal sometimes chooses to send as an echeque rather than instant transfer, this happens randomly.

For example last week I bought 4 items, 3 went instantly and one as an echeque!

Not alot you can do about it

Being fully verified has nothing to do with this (really). If that debit card had no funds, the transfer goes as an e-cheque. ( Or did when I tried something

Check your card, including the expiry date.
