confirm location UK
 

Hi everyone,
hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I have been using entropay on my accounts, and unfortunately those cards do not work with the soft limitation (confirm location) as they are from a german(?) bank.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives? Or can anyone confirm if a 3V card would work?

Also looked at bancore, but the funding options are limited for that.

How are you using the card? explain how you made the VCC to use.

When creating the accounts I am using an Entropay vcc card - no problems.

Now the account has been limited, it asks me to add a new card before I can proceed to the phone verification - I created a new card on entropay (with plenty of credit), add details on to pp, and I get this message -

You have not linked a credit card to your account. The Phone Location Confirmation process has been cancelled.

From reading the forum it would appear that entropay is no good for this particular hurdle?

Then again, I may be going about it all wrong... the other limitation requirements are bank account (done) and business information (done)

and just to add ... I go back to check on 'my money', and now there are two cards listed there - the original one I added when creating the account and the new one it rejected.

There has been an ongoing glitch with paypal UK.

You are another user caught out by their stupdity.

My cynical side says that it is a ploy to just get people to have to send in documents instead

That's a safety measure by paypal.

Weird as it is, they are trying to make sure your account was not hacked.

Now coupled with their glitches & no action on your account, they do a soft limitation.

Yes, you are correct with this. Entropay no longer works with the "Confirm Location" limitation. It has been this way for a while now. You need to get a 3V voucher and register it in the stealth name. Once you confirm the 3V voucher you will need an area specific landline number to complete the process.
