First PayPal limited in ages!
 

I have been using ebay and PayPal stealth for a while now. Everything's been going fine. I mainly use ebay to buy, and occasionally sell a few things but it's not something I rely on anymore. Anyway, the other week I noticed a charge on my PayPal account that I didn't recognise, I make hundreds of payments every month using topped up funds on an entropay card. I disputed the transaction which I have NEVER done before, subsequently I believe this led to my account being limited.

At first PayPal told me they believed someone had used my account without my knowledge, they asked me to confirm my location and my security questions which I easily did. The next thing they're telling me I need to send in ID documents, my credit card statement etc, in blind panic I sent in what they wanted but my work was shoddy and I received an email saying my account was indefinitely limited because the ID looked tampered with. My mistake.

Anyway today my entropay card received its £20.00 charge from PayPal that was in dispute and I have to wait 180 days for the other £90 that was in my account!

The ebay account is still fine, I know that it probably won't remain like that. Luckily I have backup accounts! My only question is, as I mentioned I mainly just buy from ebay, shall I continue using the ebay account for buying until it goes down then move to another? And if I need to move to another account for buying my address to send items too will obviously link me, how do I get round this?

Currently all accounts I have are unlinked to me but if I buy something and add my REAL delivery address to PayPal will I loose another account?

I hadnt had a limited PayPal in over 18 months maybe 24 months! Had 2 limited in the space of 14 days! 1 of them I called it acted pro and gave them invoices and all was good. The other I am still dealing with, luckily cashed out £1000 the week before and only £100 left for eBay fees in there :_

Ensure you have an adress to access that links to nothing else.

More than possible you will be linked reusing info.

Thing is that both ebay/paypal are sticklers in the UK for doing manual reviews. Name/address variations get detected.

I'm just glad mine was 'only' £90. All I can do is take what I've learnt and try again, it's easier said than done for me to obtain an address i have access to other than my home, unless I move house lol! I will have to see what else I can come up with! Thanks GB.

getting paypals limited at the moment when transferring funds from one account to another, I think its the new paypal updates, anyone else getting this.

Do not transfer from one PayPal to another.

Lots of warnings against this.

Withdraw via bank accounts.

Only my powerseller accounts have bank accounts linked.

All others do not due to the amount of accounts i need.

Biggest reason for the limitation is sending funds from an unverified paypal.

Very dangerous practice as James has said. Accounts get linked.

If you cannot withdraw to a bank account then use the funds in paypal to buy things if you have a usable address ?
