Account Linked To Another Paypal - Help Needed
 

Hi there

I found this forum after trying to find a solution to my problem,

Basically i made a paypal account to pay for a few things, later on discovering that i quite liked this processor i had some larger payments sent to me,

My account was limited, fine... sent in the documentation... got unlimited, all was fine.

Received payments for some invoices, £1300 or so.... i was told on phone by paypal rep that receiving this much wouldn't be a problem since i have already "Double verified" with scans etc

i log in today to find i have been limited

They say my account was found to be linked to another with unresolved issues ? the email i don't recognise at all but only person i think it could be is my son

My acc is in my name, my age everything.

How can i sort this ? surely they can't suspend my acc for a account thats in a completely diff name etc ?

Oh, IF your son has a deliquent account, you are tainted by association.

Insanity, My son is currently traveling and won't be back until near november.

So i am basically stuck here then i imagine ? Not a great situation ha

Just a quick update

I got my son to ring paypal and explain the situation.

I have since spoke to paypal, paid his negative balance off directly from my debit card and they said they will remove the limitation on my account

Good to hear.

paypal may limit the account again at any time. Please be aware of that.

Read over the forum and work out how you want to go if you use ebay in the future.

One for the good guys for a change.

Of course, I understand that hopefully not too soon though ha won't be using it for eBay, it's not my sort of platform

paypal still does limitations for off ebay transactions as well.

Be careful of understimating the beast, paypal.

If your trading can take other payment sources consider using them.
