Paypal limited but ebay account still working
 

Hi my PayPal account was limited due to completely false allegations of copyright infringement that can easily be proved wrong. Unfortunately getting PayPal to be sensible and reasonable is about as easy as going for a nice picnic in Area 51.

My ebay account is completely unaffected and remains in excellent standing.

I intend to go PayPal stealth which unfortunately means I'll have to create a new ebay account so my PayPal accounts aren't linked right?

I have very good ebay listing designs that I don't want to change. Does anyone here know if Paypal link accounts based on ebay listing titles, content, graphics etc? It doesn't matter if ebay link me as Im not banned from them its just PayPal I need to be worried about.

Welcome to the forums.

1. All new eb and pp, yes.

2. Yes you can be linked from similar content and listings - you really need to vary this up

Thanks a lot for the reply. That's a nuisance it means I will have to redesign all my listings :(. Oh well its a change to make them better I suppose. How different do they have to be for me to get away with it?

You have to make ebay think you are a brand new you....

make sure you strip data from your images & have no old info to link you.

Approach it like this: what should I do to make sure that a manual review doesnt see that the 2 accounts are similar/related...GB is right: new you

No, it will be a nuisance if you reuse info and get caught on a manual review as a previously banned user.

Think of this as you start over again.
