withdrawal to bank with different name
 

sorry if this topic has been mentioned before, tried looking for similar topic, but could not find it.

I have money in my PP that needs to be withdrawn. Problem is my bank name is on a different name. The bank is verified on my PP but i am just worried that if i withdraw, what if i get limited because my bank name is totally different to my PP. What came to mind is when PP sent a deposit to my bank during the verification process, why was there no issue with my bank account name and my PP name? it somehow worked smoothly and my bank is now verified. So could this mean i can withdraw?

Yes you can withdraw. Just don't put money from your bank into your paypal.

Some banks will allow the verification deposit but will reject a large transfer. Check around the forum about the bank you have

I know that in the past most banks have been OK when it comes to withdrawing to a bank account in a different name to the PayPal account, but one or two banks rejected it - could folks post details of which banks they have used RECENTLY for this, particularly if there have been problems?

I'm looking at trying Bank of Scotland next week; does anyone have any recent experience with them?

Only advice is to avoid Lloyds.

All other reported issues have always been down to the individual, their relationship with the bank and their perceived risk to that bank.

Many thanks for that; yeah I'd heard Lloyds were tyrouble but great the others still seem to work fine :-)

Always good to check with the forum for the bank being used beforehand...good luck pward

Halifax is fine for me. Got payments from various names into my account, no problem. Online savers are useful.
