Newbie - looking for some advice
 

Hi there

I've been lurking around here reading all the great advice for setting up stealth eBay and Paypal accounts for a while and i've picked up some brilliant tips.

I'm just starting to get things set-up so that I can start using eBay/Paypal again and i'm just looking for a little bit more advice.

I have set-up a VPS with 123-reg and I have created a new gmail account to use for eBay and Paypal. I have also created an entropay account for a VCC and I have a bank account that I can use which hasn't been linked to any ebay/paypal accounts before as well as a PAYG sim for any phone verification that may be needed.

The one main question I have is about my name/address for eBay/Paypal. I can't seen to find any information about what do I do with this. I obviously can't use my name and address, so what do I do?

Any help you can give me would be great! Thank you.

Make a name up.

Its advised to use a real address you have access to. However if you're totally stuck just make up a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.

I always use a real random address, but I know a little bit about the area it is in (local high school, landmarks, parks, etc.). Just so I feel comfortable about the area in case I have to call in for some reason or another, eases the nerves.

That's totally silly to suggest this.

Later it will fail paypal requirements.

Then the OP has more issues than just being stealth.

Is it not possible to use variations on your own address, that way the ID part is a lot easier.
Does your street have two post codes or is it not possible you renovated your house to flats or could you not just make some slight adjustments. and then you have street, avenue and gardens etc'

Most of this will come up against paypal in the end but working on your ID is a lot easier.

So for instance, if my actual address is 5b Smith Street - I could use 5b Smith Place? Is that what you mean?

This is the only part of setting up stealth accounts I'm finding confusing :/

Do I use my real name or a variation of it? For instance if my name was Anna Marie Smith, could I use Marie Smith?

most of what you ask is dependent on your abilities at a later stage, when you need to send in documents.
The more you change the more you have to change on your documents unless you are one of those people that buy the tailor made ones i have heard of and then you can say what ever you like, if there as good as I've been told.

Also remember that if you are not worried about returns, such as if you sell low value items then what details you use makes no difference. At least not at the moment but that is dependent on what ebay plan on doing when they get involved with returns.
