Card verification for PayPal

Hello folks,

When signing up for a new EB and PP account , do you 'have' to use a credit card? Or can you just add a bank account for verification etc. Not sure what the process is for a new account ? Thanks

before, can I go ahead and use that for verification?

Paypal UK has several steps.

You use a bank account to verify the paypal. (Must make sure that the bank account is brand new).

You use a VCC to confirm the paypal and lift limits.

You would avoid using a bank issued bank card because of name & address issues.
