Re: Withdrawal Still Pending After 96 Hours
This is a reply to my email received from P pal today regarding a withdrawal pending for just short of 7 days.
"First of all, it is true that due to system updates, we identified an issue in which the review for withdrawals are taking longer than the maximum time period of up to 72 hours and apparently, your transfer request is one of the impacted transactions.
Do not worry. A dedicated team already took care of this issue which is now resolved. This means that withdrawals that will be initiated from 19 November 2014 can now be completed instantly or, if it goes pending, the review should only take 21 to 72 hours.
Thus, I canceled your transfer request and return your **** to your PayPal balance. I have to advise you now to re-initiate your withdrawal so it can be processed as normal.
Furthermore, I listed the below suggestions that you may consider on how to reduce the review period for your withdrawals:
Before withdrawing funds, you may clear the cache and cookies first of your website browser. Depending on which browser you use, this can be done under 'Options,' 'Preferences,' or 'Tools'. Because deleting your cache and cookies relates to your web browser software and not PayPal, we recommend that you check your browser's online help section for further information.
Since you will be notified how long your withdrawal can take to complete before submitting it, you may consider initiating the withdrawal at a later time if you noticed that it would take 72 hours. You can also try withdrawing the funds in smaller amounts.
Ensure that you are using a secured network connection when accessing your PayPal account.
Ensure that you are making your withdrawal from your country of residence. If possible attempt to complete the withdrawal from your home computer or the computer you most frequently use to access your PayPal account.
I apologise for the inconvenience this issue caused you and I hope for your patience and understanding."
Any thoughts people?
Thank you.
