how to stop 21day on hold on paypal
 

i made a new paypal account the other week,

sold some items on some websites not (ebay) around 5 payment i received none was on hold,

after them payments i listed some items on ebay which sold (brand new account with 1 feedback) the money was not on hold, sold for £75 a graphics card,

so far i sold 8 items which none have been on hold,

paypal account has no bank account linked,
only has a vcc linked,

this may work for some people but may not

You say there is no bank account verified on the paypal, you will need to add one to withdraw any of the money and it may be that as soon as you do add one you may get the 21 day hold or similar then

So long as you know paypal might put holds on down the line.

It's interesting you got no hold.

But now that you broadcast it, it's out there and could be pulled.

Paypal has expectations of accounts being of a certain calibre. If one is not, they react.

Its a glitch.
Happens to some accounts but the vast majority do have holds.
Like Greenbean said - you can expect to see limits at any point down the line.

So the PP account isn't verified? I'd be reluctant to try that. At least I wouldn't waste a bank account trying.

If it works, it's not a bad idea for Christmas shopping! Sell, buy pressies, then add a bank account and mature the account as usual.

Is this a business account/personal account? Was it aged at all before selling?

yeah i know but it has not happen yet and i sold over 30 items so far,

the most 1 item has sold for is £150 but the rest is always under £70,

im from the uk so it may be different in another country

paypal not verified by bank account only vcc,

paypal and ebay are both personal account,

paypal was 1 week old before sold my 1st item on ebay, but had payments from other websites 1st,

ebay account was 4 days old with 1 feedback

Sometimes there are no holds on payments received from overseas

While you are in a good situation now OP...always plan in advance for holds to be implemented (not saying they will, but planning is good) - just so you aren't reliant on pp to dispense money right away

every other account i done my 1st payments was from ebay which went on hold for 21 days,

i have other accounts with money in and all limits removed

21-day hold. Looks like a glitch or something else causing the hold to not be applied.
