No money in paypal for fees please help!!

Hi there, I have a reasonable sum of money to go out of paypal for fees. I have no money in there and I stupidly put my shop on holiday over xmas and with all the excitement forgot all about it. Schoolboy error.

If i reopen i really dont think I can raise it in time, but my question is if the fees go out 30/31st of dec from my paypal account how long do they then wait to take it from your bank account if you have a direct debit set up please?

Many many thanks to anyone who can answer, am currently tearing my hair out!

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

If you have your bank set as a funding source right away , it will look to available funds than your CC and than your bank, and this can happen all at one time

If you go into paypal under profile than money , pre approved payments, and funding sources uncheck your bank account just leave your CC as a funding source

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

You can go out and buy a Vanilla Visa Gift card and pay them that way....then paypal doesn't take money from any of your sources.

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

Use your CC on file to pay fees manually

if you used entropay, top the card up with enough money to pay off your fees.

Thats likely your best solution.

Or buy a VISA GIFT CARD from the supermarket £25 or £50 denominations, to pay fees and add each card to pay them.

for uk ebay sellers fees, and a 'limited PP acc' how would one pay outstanding ebay fees of over £100 using these Visa gift cards if 1 card has a maximum value of £50??

Buy 2 cards of £50 each, register them with gospendit.com - go onto eBay, click seller account, pay by debit card, enter the info and repeat. That totals £100.

how does ebay take the 'one time full payment' from 'multiple cards'?

ive never paid fees any other way buy PP, but I imagine when you select "card as payment" it would only throw up one set of boxes to enter the16 digit card no, expiry date, s/code etc?

Takes the one time payment by doing it twice.....you can use VCCs to pay fees through this method.

Can also look at 3v and Entropay

The UK based Prime Gift card does £200 max, thats the one I use.

3V is having major issues at the moment - I tried to use PayPoint for a couple of vouchers for £100 each, 3V blocked the shops machine and then when she called, he had me on the phone asking what i needed them for, who told me to do this, blah blah. It was an interrogation!

Exactly an issue I had a few months ago.

They blocked the shops machine, hasn't worked that machine in the shop since.

Aw don't say that, its my local and they are very nice people!

PayPal is in bed with 3V, bet ya :)

The lady in the shop actually showed me the propaganda the 3V/PayPoint company sent out regarding large transactions on 3V, and it mentions 'eBay fees' as a possible 'fraud alert'.

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

Only if you register it , i.e upgrade it, and for that, you have to send docs similar to PayPal.

£200 was the limit yesterday with no questions asked.

yes your correct, it seems that when you buy one they don't want any "personal details" like your real address etc, is this the same if you walk in local shop and buy one?

thx for the heads up, these cards look good!

You guys need to remember to keep money in your PayPal for disputes and ebay fees. I always keep enough to cover 1 or 2 item returns just in case. Also leave a small balance in bank accounts to cover anything.

I never let my ebay fees get over $10. I usually pay fees once a week to keep the balance low and keep ebay from auto withdrawing my paypal.

Go to cvs and buy a paypal top up card. Add it your PayPal account. Then go to ebay and select 1 time payment using PayPal balance. Thats it enjoy!

Very good management - paying fees in advance - I don't do it weekly, just once a month however

just going back to this post

I have prime cards in hand, not 'registered'

have just tried it for ebay fee's and it said 'declined'

looks like it has to be registered on the primecard website before use

so would stealth details be used for this or real

if stealth are used and they do a quick 'online check' on the details its not gonna work is it?? this company is officially part of 'mastercard'

theres a number to call to 'activate the card' on the shop receipts

have called and it says there already Activated

jeez!!

whys nothing straight forward!!!!!!!!!!

Why not use 3v or Entropay to pay fees? Easy to set up EP

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

I have took the advice from 'Wired' in this thread, who recommended this particular card and said it works.....

johnquango 01-06-2015 09:32 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

looks like this aint gonna work!! when registering the card on prime website in stealth details, it doesn't load, nowtheres a red flag saying to phone customer services!!

bet they have blocked the card now to! good job I tried on the lowest value card first that only has couple of £ on it

sick of readin duff info on this board now....

looks like ebay aint getting what there owed!

wired 01-06-2015 09:33 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

Its not duff info, as I have replied to your PM's, you have to register the card in Stealth details. Why would you think that you wouldnt? AVS security checks address and names.

Prime works perfectly.

3V no longer accepts large purchases. In fact they block the shops paypoint units now. Happened to a few of us. I got an interrogation on the phone by them asking for £150 3v coupon and they denied it.

The Prime card works perfectly, the OP didnt register the name or address :pound:

ive tried registering it in the stealth details

page just kept freezing, then after a few times closing the page and opening it again its now come up with a webpage with all the stealth details still entered in the boxes with a Red Flag at the top asking to call customer services...

Yes, so call them. There wont be a problem. I dont know why you are scared about it, its just a PRepay card you have already bought!

Might be worth taking a valium first though ;)

johnquango 01-06-2015 09:37 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

and what do I say on the phone when they start asking 'awkward questions' they've obv done some kind of online credit check and found NO RECORD of the stealth name and address / credit history etc

also its worth noting that the guy in the shop today told me that they have 'just now' changed this set up, and it must be reg etc because of 'fraud possibilities'....

wired 01-06-2015 09:39 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

They havent at all. They even state they dont do credit checks and they dont ask awkward questions. Just the details you entered.

Stop panicking seriously. This isnt PayPal.

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

Just say, oh tried to register my card i got for my birthday, said to give you a call...they try to get you to upgrade, just say no.

Valium first though buddy or you'll have a heart attack. :)

johnquango 01-06-2015 09:42 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

they must be running a 'credit check' when you click confirm the page loads for few seconds then juts returns back to 'registration details' again every time

again followed shortly by Red Flag and phone number to call

wired 01-06-2015 09:50 AM

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

As i said, call them. I had to.Took thirty seconds on the phone.

No they dont run a credit check as explained in their terms and conditions.

If you cant help yourself mate, i cant help you either :)

Re: No money in paypal for fees please help!!

f##k it, had enough for today
