I got an UK paypal limited waitting on confirm credit card

I tried 2 vcc 2 times it always showing below message and won't pass with the charge and code.

"The Credit Card Verification System used by PayPal is currently unavailable,please try at the different time..."

Whats the giltch of this?

I have the same problem adding my bank card, I believe you will never be able to add a card, you will need to call them to get verified through a credit check to add the account.

I am unable to add a bank account for this reason, i have one added at the moment, however is in a family members name, and i just realised i have taken out 40k over years in that account. Now i need to add an account in my name for obvious reasons.

Anyone know what can be done ? Any help greatly appreciated

Well I just had another AVS VCC loaded in and it worked.
so it need to be an avs vcc for this one...

not sure about the bank account one..

Woah! That is a very broad based sweeping statement to put in the forum, I agree with realdeals on that, paypalpains, you may be having big problems with adding VCC's and even bank accounts to your PayPal/eBay accounts, but despite all the problems we are having over here in the UK with the new ID verification checks, so far, adding VCC's and acceptable bank accounts is not one of those big problems, certainly that I have read about on here anyway, and if those things were an issue as you were saying, there would be absolute uproar as those are amongst the most basic of account creation in this country.

I had found out what caused this error

because I did twice at the same time whichs approx 9-10AM UK time,their credit card verification system was running US time,at that sort of time range its like midnight in US.thats why it not worked(system maintenance etc).I did it in a US working time it passed.

Mine just wont add.

Sorry didnt mean to alarm anyone, I was not talking in general, I was talking about if you get the message , then I think there is no other option (uk) .

What sort of card are you trying to add to PayPal?

It sounds like your trying to add your own actual plastic card to the PayPal account

I have a bank account, they gave me a visa debit card with a sort code and account number, those are the requirements for adding a bank account to paypal for withdrawals

The bank account can be used.

The Visa card cannot be used.

Usually that message appears when there is not enough funds on the Vcc for paypal to take the charge they make to your card.
