Hey, Just wanting some advice on thoughts about having so many bank accounts?

I currently have 3, Would like more but a little worried on having so many bank accounts can bring unwanted attention to yourself? Even though they are 100% legit just wondering on how many some of you guys are running & if you have had any trouble having so many?

Bank.accounts must be opened slowly to.avoid any suspicion as to why you would be openibg so many at one time.
You can get savers attached to your normal bank.accounts too if necessary.
The opportunity is there to have a few on the.go...but as said, VERY important to open these slowly over time :-)

When were your current 3 opened?

Yeah i totally agree opening them slowly, But i have heard that ' Saving Accounts ' are NO good for PayPal because you cannot setup a Direct Debit with a ' Savings Account '

From being on the forum for a while I know the way to handle it is to start with the bank the user is currently with, do they have any basic accounts, and current accounts of course, maybe savings accounts as well, but those savings must have a real account number and sort code, then just repeat that strategy at all the recognised good for stealth banks over here.

They can still be withdrawn to though :-)

Normal.accounts are.deemed better. I use a.mix of current and savers :-)

Yeah ' Saving Accounts ' do have Real Account Number & Sort Code, But i thought PayPal would reject the bank account because a Direct Debit cannot be setup.

They will reject it, but can still be withdrawn to :thumb:

When my RBS bank account close without any reason.

I took a step back.
I am not comfortable with so many bank accounts.
I do work with savers, even with those. I have took a step back.

Currently I am working around 5 bank accounts with various banks and 2 savers accounts.

It is never worth it to get a fraud link on your file. Would be doomed for future.

My advice, go slow and try other methods around this.

Are you 100% sure on this?

So you can still put money into your PayPal & withdraw from your PayPal account with a ' Savings Account? '

PayPal setup the Direct Debit so they can take there fee's from your bank if there is no current money in your PayPal... correct?

You spread out your account creation - vary up the banks.

Yes PP can take money from bank (post #9) if verified with the bank account

Just done some reading on Direct Debit with PayPal & you have to set it up as a account verification?

Otherwise there are some limits still in place?...

So ' Savings Accounts ' are no good?

Funds in paypal can be withdrawn to savers.

Dont put yourself in a position for paypal to dip into bank.accounts. Use paypal balabce for fees and if you get caught short, then do a.one off payment with your VCC

So you can ' bypass ' the setup direct debit with PayPal?... & still get fully verified? I thought setting up the Direct Debit was part of becoming Verified?

Yes...you bypass the DD.
Savers can still be used to verify and withdraw to.

Use paypal funds for fees or a one off payment using your.VCC, if you find you havent enough in your paypal account. Thats happenned to me a.couple of times :-)

Savers do get rejected.

They flag the accounts, imo.

You can use basic accounts or current accounts which are much easier.

Idea is to have smooth sailing when using paypal.

Make sure to not open or close bank account quickly. Do everything over a period of months rather than weeks.

Savers can be used to verify a PayPal account.

If you submit the direct debit mandate most savers will reject it.

If after that has happened the PayPal can withdraw to the savings account.

Rejecting the DD mandate may flag the account, but I personally have never had an issue with it.

You re-add the savings account when you are ready to make a withdrawal eosur, that's how it was explained to me anyway, and it works perfectly I believe from that point.

So basically better to just stay away from ' Saving Accounts? ' just to be safe?

Answer this.

Do you want to try to run the new stealtl account smoothly or do you want annying little niggles?

Since I am pretty sure, you dont really want niggles, you should select a smoother way to operate especially on this first stealth account.

Look at adding the bank account that will not be flagged. Get verified and confirmed.
Start selling and making money. A basic account or a current account fits this purpose.

Make sure you are also careful as to what bank you select. Lloyds is not wise for stealth.

I suggest this as a means of easing new stealth users to get ahead with their accounts.

I have no intention of using a ' Savings Account ' i was just curious.

I will be using a proper ' Current Account '

Yeah i have read ' Lloyds ' is a bank to avoid

BASIC Bank accounts are better to use than a current account, they do less extensive checks against your credit database and are easier to get.
You can normally get 3 or 4 of these with certain banks.

I would not suggest bypassing the DD on your paypal account, you will cause unnecessary hassle and risk on you ebay account.

I have same questions as the OP, so:

We we have established that one should never let eBay take DD from an account and the fees should be paid with balance OR VCC.
BUT
When signing up for a NEW Paypal, it asks for Direct Debit details upon creation, right?
Would this step be then just ignored? Add a VCC and move on until you have to withdrawal and then add the S/C and A/C thus, verifying the bank account as well?

No you need to sign up as normal.
But always make sure you have enough funds in your paypal for fees or pay fees in advance with a Vcc so paypal don't dip into your bank account.

If the Bank Account doesn't have an overdraft option then surely PayPal can't take out any funds if there's no funds on the account
